Orlando brand session with EMDR therapist Marizayda Torres

Meet Marizayda Torres. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Play Therapist who understands that individuals often become stagnant due to their own thought patterns and behaviors or the absence of relational connections. Without the necessary support, it can be challenging to recognize the benefits of change, leading to struggles on the journey forward.

Marizayda’s practice, clients receive a tailored plan designed to encourage them toward their personal goals and psychological well-being. This approach is rooted in creating a safe space that allows for true exploration and self-expression while identifying tools to enhance balance and happiness.

With specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sand Tray therapy, Marizayda brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Her background includes instruction in both secondary and higher education, which complements her work in counseling.

Marizayda has extensive experience working with children and adolescents, helping them navigate school challenges, relationships, self-esteem issues, and academic pressures. She also supports adult clients in dealing with divorce, trauma, substance recovery, life transitions, and overcoming various hardships.
