Meet Velckis of Your Teacher Bestie: Empowering Young Mathematicians Everywhere

I am so excited to introduce Velckis, the creative and passionate force behind Your Teacher Bestie! Velckis flew in all the way from Houston to Orlando for her brand session with us—and what a session it was! Her vibrant energy, warm personality, and love for teaching radiated through every shot. As an added treat, her daughter joined us for a few sweet moments during the shoot, making it even more special.

Velckis began her teaching journey in 2017 and has since taught both second and third grade. Her heart beats for math education. She’s made it her mission to help children feel confident and successful in the subject. After years of seeing students walk into her classroom with low math esteem. Velckis took on the challenge of unlocking the inner mathematician in each of them. And she did just that—with passion, creativity, and heart.

One of her proudest milestones was when she received a first-class rating at a Title I school. Performing on par with top-tier districts in her state. That moment was a game-changer. It solidified her belief that with the right tools and mindset, all students can thrive in math. It also sparked the beginning of something bigger—Your Teacher Bestie.

Through Your Teacher Bestie, Velckis shares engaging, kid-friendly math resources that are as fun as they are effective. From her beautifully designed lesson plans to her easy-to-follow teacher guides. Every product reflects her experience in the classroom and her heart for students and educators alike.
