She is an educator that faced significant learning hurdles, including undiagnosed dyslexia, ADHD, and sensory/auditory processing issues throughout most of her educational career. These experiences profoundly influenced her teaching philosophy and approach.

The daily struggles with undiagnosed learning disabilities made academic success seem unattainable. These obstacles didn’t just create roadblocks; they forged a deep understanding and empathy for students facing similar challenges. This unique perspective has become the cornerstone of Jillian’s teaching career.

With a fervent desire to ensure every child feels confident in their math abilities. Jillian believes that confidence in students stems from teachers who feel equally confident in their ability to teach math. Over fifteen years of teaching, Jillian has seized every opportunity to deepen their understanding of math education. This commitment is driven by a singular goal.
