Melissa came in for a session and update for her images because she just bought her existing partner practice and I am so thrilled for her!

Meet Melissa, she is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, and received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. Melissa had the privilege to gain knowledge and experience from working in a residential treatment center, outpatient psychiatric hospital, and private practice setting. She has worked with patients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse and suicidal ideation.

She has a passion for working with children and adolescents and uses a non-judgmental, person-centered theoretical orientation to help the patient and family achieve their therapeutic goals. Melissa uses creative interventions such as expressive arts and play therapy, which helps to engage and encourage growth within her patients.
