Dr. A is a bilingual therapist who specializes in providing evidence based-therapy to adults experiencing trauma-related disorders. She has extensive training in trauma therapies and experience working with Veterans and the general population. Dr. A enjoys providing education about trauma and helping clients recover the voice they have lost due to traumatic events.

Katia helps her clients improve their metal health and confront traumas that affect their overall quality of life. This gal has a huge passion for her work and her clients and you can tell by the joy when she talks about her work.

Dr. A is able to provide therapy in English and Spanish. With thirteen years of experience working with trauma in both Veterans and general population including first responders. She has had extensive training in evidence-based therapies for trauma including CPT, PE, EMDR, WET, STAIR, DBT, CBCT and other co-morbidities like depression and eating disorders.
